Eagle Lift Privacy Policy

Eagle Lift is a strength training log. This policy explains what happens to your information.

We do not collect your data. Eagle Lift has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it contains no third-party code that collects anything. Everything you enter (workouts, saved workouts, exercise settings, body weight, measurements, progress photos, cardio sessions) is stored on your device. Eagle Lift does not send it anywhere. We will never sell your data. If we ever use exercise data to improve the app (for example, to sort exercises by how popular they are), it will be anonymous: never linked to your name, your device or your workout history. You will be able to turn it off in the app, and this policy will say so before it starts.

Apple Health. Only if you allow it, Eagle Lift reads from Apple Health: workouts, calories burned (active energy), heart rate and distance walked, run, cycled or swum, recorded by your Apple Watch or a watch app, to count your cardio minutes. If you also turn on "Use my sleep and heart data", it reads your sleep, heart rate variability and resting heart rate to suggest a light day after a short night. It does not read your body weight. If you allow it, it saves your finished strength workouts to Apple Health. All of this happens on your device. Health data is never sent anywhere by Eagle Lift and is never used for advertising. You can change these permissions at any time in the Health app (Sharing, Apps, Eagle Lift).

Apple Watch, notifications, lock screen and widget. If you use the Apple Watch app, the current workout (the exercise, the next set and the rest timer) is shared between your iPhone and your Watch, and button presses on the Watch come back to the iPhone. Eagle Lift can show a notification when your rest is over, a Live Activity on your lock screen while you train, and a home screen widget. These show your workout details (for example the exercise, weight and reps, or this week's sets per muscle) on your own device. The widget reads a small summary that the app shares with it on the same iPhone through an App Group. None of this leaves your devices.

Files you import, export and back up. Files you choose to import (workout history CSVs, .fit/.tcx/.gpx activity files) are read on your device. Backups and CSV exports are created only when you ask, and go only where you send them (for example Files, AirDrop or Mail).

Your iPhone and iCloud backups. Eagle Lift keeps your data in its own storage on your iPhone. If you use iCloud Backup, or back up your iPhone to a computer with Finder, your iPhone's backup can include Eagle Lift's data, including progress photos. That backup is made and kept by Apple or by you, under your own settings; Eagle Lift cannot see or control it.

Feedback and bug reports. When you write feedback or a bug report in the app, it is saved on your device and nothing is sent. It leaves your device only when you send it yourself with the Share button or by email, and only to where you choose. It contains your text, a screenshot only if you pick one, and, if you leave "Include app details" on, the app version, system version, device model, units and language. The app does not add your workouts or names. You can delete saved reports in Send feedback, Your reports.

Purchases. If you buy Smart suggestions, Apple handles the payment and the purchase record through the App Store. Eagle Lift never sees your payment details and only learns, from Apple, that the purchase was made. Apart from that, Eagle Lift makes no network connections.

Several people on one device. Each person you add has separate workouts and settings on the same device. Nothing is shared between them unless you export it.

Children. Eagle Lift does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data. Settings, About, Delete my data removes your workouts, saved workouts, settings, measurements and photos from the device. Backups and exports you made are not touched. Deleting the app also removes its data from the device.

Changes. We may change this policy at any time. The current version is always posted at this address with its date. If a change affects what leaves your device, the app will tell you before it takes effect.
